A performance activewear brand

We added color swatch circles below the image. It lost. So we killed it.

The hypothesis was reasonable: color circles below the image swatches would make variants easier to scan and lift add-to-cart. We ran it clean, same traffic, same ads, only the page changed. The data said no. Revenue per visitor dropped, conversion dropped, and the variant had roughly a 9% probability of ever beating control. AOV did not move. We stopped the test and left the control in place. Most agencies would never show you this. We do, because you deserve to know what did not work, not just what did.
